Disposal and product compliance
Where an old device goes, what the marks on it mean, and who is registered for what.
Old devices
A CertoClav autoclave is business-to-business electrical equipment. It does not belong in household waste, and the crossed-out wheelie bin on the rating plate says so.
Tell us when a device reaches the end of its life and we will say where it goes. In most countries your dealer takes it back when they deliver the replacement.
Registrations
The registrations we hold for packaging and electrical equipment:
- ARA (packaging, Austria): 950
- WEEE (electrical equipment, Germany): DE 70266207
Batteries
Where a device contains a battery (for example in a documentation terminal), it must not go into household waste either. Return it to us or to a collection point.
Packaging
Transport packaging is taken back by your dealer, or by us where we deliver directly.
Conformity
CertoClav laboratory autoclaves carry the CE mark. The applicable directives are named on each product page and on the datasheet for that model.
